The choice of LED lamp power supply is mainly considered from the output voltage, output current, and corresponding power wattage of the power supply. LED power supply generally has two types of constant current source output and constant voltage source output. First, for the LED power supply output by constant current source, we mainly consider its output voltage. For LED power drivers that output the same current, its output voltage It is also different, so when choosing a constant current LED power supply, it should be consistent with the working voltage of the LED lamp. For example, for a constant current LED power supply with a rated current of 200 mA to 300 mA, its output voltage is between 9V and 13V. The range between 10V and 25V, the range between 24V and 42V, the range between 45V and 63V, etc., so we choose this power supply to consider its output voltage range.

 

   Similarly, for the constant voltage source LED power driver, under the same output voltage, its output current is also different, so when we choose LED power supply, we need to consider its output voltage or current according to different types of LED power supply. . In addition, the power range of the LED power supply should also be considered. If the power range is selected incorrectly, the LED lamp beads will be burned, or the LED lamp will flicker.

 

   For simple LED lamps, it is often used to reduce the voltage through a simple RC resistance-capacitor step-down link, and then arrange it through a diode and add a suitable current-limiting resistor to drive about a dozen high-brightness LED lamp beads. Yes, the lamp beads here can be connected in parallel or in series, but the current limiting resistor must be selected well. For example, the mini LED desk lamp I made before is a power supply formed by this method. I used 12 LED lamp beads in parallel, and used a 2.4 ohm two-watt resistor as the current limiting resistor, and the effect was very good.

 

The LED light has high brightness and saves electricity. Now in order to make LED lights more humane, we can also choose LED power supply with dimming function, such as LED dimming power supply using thyristor, which has high adjustment accuracy and efficiency. If you need to install in a small space, you can choose this LED power supply with dimming function.

 

Some LED power supplies with dimming function are made of MOS tubes, which are also called MOSFET dimmers. It can not only control the on and off of LED lights, but also control the LED lights. Like the LED dimmable power supply made of silicon, the phenomenon of invisible lighting occurs.
